All packages ship from Shanghai, China with Chinapost. We will process orders as soon as possible. However, because all packaging have elements that are hand made and hand written and tea is packaged at the last moment before shipping to ensure better freshness, it will take us a few days to a week to process your order and get it ready for shipping. At that point you will receive an email stating your order is being processed.
Now, after we prepare your box we give it to the post office and this is where things get unpredictable. The post office takes some time to process the order and by the time we give it to them and the time it leaves the People’s Republic of China it can pass any amount of time from one week to a month even depending on their mysterious bureaucracy and on how busy they are with more important things than sending our tea. Once the package leaves China and its on its way, we will update you with a tracking code and you will receive an email that your order is completed.
Rest assured that we try to send your tea as soon as possible. We are a small project that cares most of all about sharing great tea at affordable prices. Everything is done by hand, we don’t have a big organization that sends hundreds of packages a week but I can assure you we do our best.
If you are pressed for time, need to receive tea before a certain date or very soon, better contact us first. Otherwise, I think its worth the wait.
Shipping for the following countries is priced at a flat rate of Euro 9.5 and is expected to take around 2-3 weeks after it leaves PRC : Canada, UK, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Russia, Israel, Germany, France, South Korea, Malaysia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Italy, Portugal, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Belgium, Turkey, Netherlands, Norway, Hungary, Ireland, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Greece, Spain and Kazakhstan.
Countries not listed above ship via either Air or Surface Air Lifted for a variable flat rate between Euro 12 and 20, depending on the country. Please contact us for a quote.
Please note that international customs duties may apply in your country, and that any additional fees or delays imposed by local customs offices are the sole responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for any package not allowed to enter your country or held by customs.
We are not responsible for orders that are stolen or lost due to being delivered to an unsecured residence/location and for orders that are not delivered because of wrong or missing information provided.
If after 4 weeks from shipping date your package still didn’t arrive contact us and we will try to find out what happened.
